#075 Sapporo Ichiban Kitsune Udon
There’s no food in the house since I’m heading out for the holidays so I’ve been hitting the ramen stash. Mmm. Kitsune is so yummy. Very simple and homey. This came pretty close to how fresh tastes. I think the bonito authenticated the flavors. It’s especially wonderful when the broth is yummy since the fried bean curd is a sponge! An egg and some scallion slivers would’ve topped the whole meal off.

#074 PF Select Wonton Noodle (Board)

It was late but i was hungry so i made myself a snack with the wonton noodles i bought a few days ago at the market.
Mixed sesame oil, oyster sauce and soy into the noodles. My mom used make this as a snack. I love the simplicity of it. I add chili oil ( cause i like spicy) and some red vinegar (the acidity compliments the oil).
The noodles were alright, nothing spectacular. The package instructions say to boil for 45 secs, so I did and decided that 45 seconds isn’t long enough for me. I like my noodles doing doing! These were a bit tough still.

#073 Sapporo Ichiban Japanese Style Noodles Chow Mein
Yummy! Looked and tasted more like Yakisoba but then again I’ve never had Japanese chow mein so what do I know? I know these noodles were really fun to make and eat! Hee hee.
One flavor packet and one packet of seaweed for sprinkling at the end.
Instead of using a pot, instructions say to use a frying pan! Different indeed. I followed the instructions to the T and it really worked! One cup of water was the perfect amount and the noodles absorbed every drop.
The vegetables that I chose to use was whatever I had in the fridge which was a broccolini & onion (wasn’t feeling any meat so I left that out). Wah lah! The final results. Doesn’t this look yummy yummy? I wanted some spicy so I added a healthy squeeze of that yummy rooster sauce we all know and love.
#072 Nongshim Seafood Ramyun
I think you can feed a family of 4 with this one packet of noodles! Flavor-wise it was a familiar taste, it’s the taste that I associate with Korean seafood flavor which is something like cuttlefish. It’s pretty consistant with all the other Korean seafood flavored instant noodles. I wasn’t even really feeling seafood flavor today because of this reason BUT I had this sitting in the cupboard for a while so I had to get to it one day or another. I added some pea shoot sprouts that I had left over in the fridge and a yummy egg.
