I recently discovered the Leicester Oriental Supermarket (England) after being a lover of noodles for years but not being able to find any really good flavours. Having gone through about all of their range (quite an extensive one I think - 50 or so) I found these to actually be my favourite!

Thank you Oodles of Noodles on how to make the noodles...I know how to make the dish but never made the noodles before. I usually buy the premade noodles that they sell at the asian store but they stopped selling them(maybe the person who made them stopped making them) so I've been sad b/c I can't make it to eat anymore. But now I can again. Thanks so much!!! Thanks for the recipe!

Yeah, boiling water. Thanks for the directions in English. You'd have thought printing English on anything Japanese would make it sell better. At least stuff made for college kids like this.

This may say Okinawa Soba but it definitely is not. The soup is totally wrong, they just used instant ramen powdered kombu and bonito broth off the shelf, so to say. Its gotta have pork in the broth. Okinawa soba is not ramen by a long stretch. It does have a natural lye made from wood ash in it but it's not like the bottled lye sold in Asian grocery stores, it is much gentler. They do have ramen on Okinawa but it's better than most I've had on the mainland. It has a clear pork broth that's very refreshing, not the heavy tonkotsu everyone seems to be enamored with.

I've also tried this and I would buy it again. The noodles were a great texture and it had lots of flavor.
