Very salty and actually tasted like pickled cabbage. I enjoyed the texture of the noodles as they were nice and round and slurpy.

So far, I have had pretty good luck with sesame flavored noodles. I’ve not been able to go wrong yet. Like the packaging says, this was “yummy”. The amount of sesame flavor was just right so it wasn’t too over powering. Sesame oil has a very strong taste and aroma so a little goes a long way. The noodles were thin and soft and soaked up lots of flavor. I added fried garlic, and egg and of course, scallions which took these noodles to another level. If you are a fan of the toasty, deep, rich flavor of sesame oil, I would highly recommend a sesame flavored noodles.
